AFFF floods out aircraft hangar takes over street

6% H-Ex foam generally for those.

3% Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF), the primary crash rescue firefighting foam, is toxic as hell apparently. The USAF has known about it for decades, and never told anyone.

I've had tons of exposure to this. AFFF is the standard Class B firefighting foam (flammable liquid fires), standard for CFR. It replaced most of the protein foams such as FFFP that were utilized prior to it as standard. I've been soaked in this stuff before during drills and actual fires, inhaled and ingested it any number of times just from it being in the air or on my gear. "Its just like soap", is how it's always been viewed. That's how it does it's film-forming properties in order to allow it to be a vapor barrier/seal, as well as fire suppressant for Class B fires.

Will be interesting to see where this goes.

Time to find the best types of MDs and PhDs for this and keep your federal elected officials on speed-dial. Also time to lawyer up.

This kind of head-in-the-sand behavior by responsible officialdom is just inexcusable.

Good luck!
