Just an observation

People who behave like Tuco Salamanca don't seem to last long here.

Ain't nobody got time for dat.

If everyone's confident of their "junk", we all get along real nice. But once it goes my X is bigger/badder/smarter than your X, it's romper room and, what did that previous sentence say? :)

I understand people are willing to share. In my case I am in a good spot because I start at NK in a few weeks and @Nark has been helping me a ton but I'm sure others need help. I guess if people were actively seeking information about this we would have continuing conversation.

I'm and happy to help answer any questions you, or anyone else, have about NK.

I didn't reply to your other thread regarding our interviews, because I have no idea what they're doing these days. I'm long enough removed from that process I don't know what's going on there. Plenty of other guys around here that are more current in the hiring process to give you good intel.

Congrats on the job. Welcome aboard...now immediately remove the "it's better than my regional" from your vocabulary. Go ahead and say something like that out on the line and watch how quickly your day will go downhill.

100% correct.

Get yourself a green lanyard and get ready to jump in.

Its very important for management to realize that every pilot they hire will be standing side by side their fellow Spirit pilots, figuratively and literally, and not just a Jyri lackey.

The content on APC really discouraged me from pursuing an airline career for quite a while. I was still earning my private at the time, but the negativity and arguing that permeated throughout the threads was enough to discourage me for a while from leaving my full-time job to start the path towards an ATP. As an outsider, just seemed no one was happy regardless of the situation. Fast forward a few years I realize that's not entirely the case and I've now begun that path - certainly happy to have this community on my favorites bar (I don't post much, though). Professionalism and maturity here is night and day to other forums, so thank you to all.

Speaking of Spirit, I flew them as a passenger for the first time from IAH-OAK and had a great experience. Their BIG seats are downright massive for a premium domestic seat, FA's were friendly and enthusiastic, and managed to have a quick chat with the FO who seemed like a great guy. Will definitely fly again.

Guys in initial right now are wearing green lanyards.

***edited do to reading comprehension on my part***there should be more conversation about this. What about the guys who want to go to F9,NK,JB and so on. Very little talk about that on here and I just think that people here can answer questions better than the scum at APC.

I'm happy to answer questions. Not many are posted, however.

I'm happy to hear you had a good experience flying with Spirit. You wouldn't know it listening to the news (or the vocal know-nothings), but the majority of the people I talk to exiting the aircraft are happy and have had a pleasurable experience.

So if I shot a fox, dead to life, in my backyard so my dogs wouldn't eat it... do I need to delete my account? Half joking, but actually true. Sorry acrofox. Couldn't resist because it recently happened.

Furthering your career isn't based on a pay scale or status, it's what works for you. If an LCC gets you based back home with a good schedule and livable wage.... who's to argue that? That's just an example.

The term of "further your career" gets "associated" with a major only by stereotype. Figure out what you want, set a course, attain it, and enjoy. Only you can decide what the goal actually is.

Everyone is different.
