Medical paid for?

It's generally not something that is covered in most contracts, unless the company offers their own doctors (DON'T DO IT!!!).

The exception seems to be, prior to FO's needing a first class medical, several of the legacies that had IRO's who needed it, paid for their once a year 1st class.

Endeavor pays toward it. The last few years have been an adventure in special issuance(s) and I honestly can't remember what the company paid and the SI cost out of pocket. As I recall, if you just need a medical and ekg it would be covered at normal cost for the year. If you have to pay more for SI, you already know it's not cheap, and I'm reiterating that it's not covered. I've had time to look, most majors cover the costs, I can't find any regional that covers the whole Monty, without a cap.

we get 70 bucks at skywest, but there is a Dr where I live (will not name) who, even with a high deductible plan, is free.

I assume he uses the "yearly checkup" portion of the preventative on our high deductible plan. so I guess we get paid 70 bucks to medical....?

Our local AME advertises that it will get charged as a physical and has the last several times for me (1st class under age 40). I'm pretty sure that all health insurance plans are required to cover an annual physical, so mine have been free the last several times.

UAL does not (which seems funny because some of the "lower class" companies I worked for did). I'll have to ask someone in the union about what the history on this is. Maybe @Seggy knows. On that note, not super high priority in the grand scheme of things, but on the other side of the coin, everything is a priority.

Spirit does not reimburse for medicals. Like everything else around here, the cost is passed on to those who use it...in this case the pilot and the medical expense. ;)

We have an automatic "customary reimbursement".

And a bit more: Any additional testing that you may require to maintain your medical is also covered by re-imbursement. Little known fact...

Skywest automatically reimburses $70 when you update your medical info. In case that hasn't been covered yet...

Parking pass out of base is not. Needs to be fixed in the next TA. Oh, wait...
