Based on the dust on the runway I say very few.

The four engine turbo prop is a joy to watch.

That's what I was going to mention too.

I don't have any experience with fighter types of aircraft... I'm wondering about how much AoA was left to use.

If you watch the video when they say she's flying she's in #53 or something similar. Then they show a formation takeoff with 53 and 21. 21 is the one that pranged it on. So may not have been her.

I have to confess to lol'ing too, but the MiG with the female pilot subtitle appears to have a different number than the tail strike aircraft.

Watching old skool Soviet planes fly around it pretty cool...Tu-134/154 and the Il-62, esp the the -62 with the outboard engines in reverse before landing (always thought that was interesting about that plane)

My fav Tom Clancy book, Cardinal of the Kremlin, references it and says it has the worst taxiways ever...truth to that? @Stone Cold ?

I know I needed way more than taxi thrust to break free after stopping on a taxiway in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was like taxiing on play-dough...or Laguardia.

Great book. Red Storm Rising is the best Clancy book hands down though.
