daily pic

Damn.......don't ever see a sky like that where I live. It's so 3-D and the horizon just goes on forever. Man, I need a trip to the country somewheres. I am just picturing that scene with a little stream and some fly fishing. It's like an old timey Marlboro commercial. I am expecting some cowboy to come riding along.

Oh hell, I didn't even know and good luck in school. How was the fishing the year?
It was great! My best season yet! Thanks, I just finished indoc/systems and am going to do a ctp course next (backwards I know). I was able to make it to fish camp for one more chance at chillaxin' before I'm super busy for the next month.

Pit stop in Kenai, parked next to this DC-4. I love old planes, if you couldn't tell ;).

Hope they are right side up this time!

Kind of a random visitor to Lihue. Nok Air 737, transitioning from Boeing to Thailand.

The camera on my S5 is great, but it doesn't do so well in low light, especially when shooting through the really crappy glass of the 717 windows.

I flew Nok about 10 years ago from Chiang Mai to Udon. The whole time I was imagining the crew going "don't worry about *system* #1, that's why we have #2." Not the most confidence inspiring trip.

Got into Charlotte 25 minutes early Tuesday morning, so it was off to purgatory for us...to wait. And wait. Aaaand wait.

...And here's the bird I was supposed to take to Phoenix...
The abridged story goes, I missed out on the first full 321, got kicked off the 2nd full 321 because of a mainliner taking priority...and this lovely lady gave us an ENG 2 SENSOR FAULT lining up to 18C.

Win some, lose some.
