Multiple injuries on JetBlue 429 due to convective turbulence

Isn't it egotistical and presumptuous to call people dumb asses about a situation where you have no clue what happened? That on top of the unprofessionalism making light of a situation where people got hurt.

Sounds like you have had experience of folks talking about you and your work when you aren't there in a negative way. Just a FYI, not everyone has had that experience.

Define "quite a few".

And your imaginary friends don't count.

Totally get you've got a hard on for @Seggy because you get trolled by him every time, but if your way of pushing back is to say that you know a demographic that won't fly a certain major airline because of things one of their pilots says on a random message board in a small corner of the interwebs... You need to up your game.

Which airline does he work for? I don't pay enough attention.

and to my knowledge, there aren't any guys named after cars.
Mr. T. Ford model T. Checkmate.
Those cars aren't worth naming anyone after. ;) They are okay cars, but I wouldn't ever own either brand. My parents have better taste than that.
If your parents think they have better taste than the Porsche company, they automatically don't have better taste than the Porsche company. There is no "better taste" when it comes to Porsche.

You like Porsche. Got it. Also a stripper name. ;)

Didn't you say you are here and researching to better understand your boyfriend's chosen career path to be an airline pilot?

I did research things for my boyfriend that just happened to be a pilot, but that took weeks and he has since gotten that job he wanted. It wasn't as difficult as it seemed. My own career is my focus now.

Why did your parents name you after a car? Were you conceived in that car? :bounce:

No. My Dad loved Shelby Mustangs and my sisters got fairly normal names, so that seemed to be a great idea for a 10 week early preemie that they hadn't decided on a name for. I hated that name until it became more common. I definitely fit in the south now. So it all worked out.
