First time in Salt Lake and just about everyone I talk to says I have to try it.

Was it worth the wait?

I saw one a couple a months ago at MYR, a lot of fun to fly that bird. loved it, and miss it, thanks for the pictures.

Beautiful OV1-D Mohawk I had the pleasure to fly in the army in Argentina. So many memories, great pictures
I'm envious, I've always loved that plane. Taxiing in I was hoping to park next to it so I could get a shot of two of my favorite turboprops parked side by side but there was some stupid Cessna parked in the way :D.

@gotWXdagain how is 500px? I have over 6,000 photos on Flickr but I'm tired of their constant formatting changes, and I'm thinking of making the switch.

It's pretty good, plus you can license photos on their marketplace and make extra cash if they sell, which for me has thus far been zero. Interface similar to flickr but I've learned quite a bit about how to approach a subject since I've started using it.

Saw this guy in CDW this afternoon

That owner is fairly open about letting someone fly it if they pay for fuel.

He is also willing to talk for hours about himself, the airplane, himself, the aircraft's history, himself, historical significance of the paint and names on it, himself, aircraft he has previously owned/ flown/ typed in, himself...

Catch my drift ?

I would happily tolerate latent narcissism for a little time at the controls of that thing :)

I'm not above that either, I've done it in the past too. I'd probably eject rather than spend too much time around that type of personality.

Wow, Washington does seem pretty awesome.
If you've never been, then you def need to venture out this way...but just know, it'll get in your soul. Born and raised Georgian here, and Washington is the only state I'd live in willingly, outside of GA.

Quite a few JC'ers are part of #TeamSEA
