Road age is one of those weird things that isn't limited to someone who may have anger or rage issues. Sometimes, someone who is perfectly fine day to day where nothing bothers them, they get behind the wheel and it's like something changes and now the smallest slights they encounter on the roadway are taken personally or reacted to immediately, whether accidental or not. Or, people having a bad day already or bothered with things going on in their life who are able to "keep it together" while at work or in public, get behind the wheel and the same phenomenon occurs. Its really sad because often, these are people who would never otherwise act this way. Even after the fact......sometimes tragically so.....these same people can't believe how they just acted. None of this excuses the actions, of course (especially in brandishing or using a weapon in the course of), it's just an interesting thing to see when looking at the background of some of the people caught up in.....or the cause of.....these occurances. So pointless, in the big picture. Was it worth it?
