I think its hard for someone not active in aviation to understand/comprehend whats happened or is happening in a situation like that. For us sure it seems logical to drop everything and run and go check, but for him (he also had a kid by his side), maybe wasn't sure what to do?
 
Are we really criticizing the camera man? From impact to him running was literally 25 seconds. Are you telling me (even if you were alone) that you'd be running towards an airplane as its falling out of the sky? I bet everyone for the first 10 seconds was so shocked at what just happened but I applaud those 7 or 8 I saw running towards the accident....but here we are complaining they should have been faster...jeez lol

I bet he was recording his child and happened to hear that airplane, move the camera at the right moment, and crop out everything before. Smart for him to make sure the child went with the Mom.

If he didn't bring the camera with him to the accident, clearly he wasn't focusing on just getting a good video....just my opinion. Good for him and those who ran to help. If that was me I wouldn't be saying "jeez way to be 30 seconds late."
