DTW Picket Line

Is it the busiest airport in the world this year or is it going to be ORD? Because flying in and out of ORD a lot they (usually) expect you to go as fast as possible as long as possible. Oh, they are also dealing with traffic coming in and out of MDW, what do the ATL controllers also deal with? Maybe the ATL controllers can go for a field trip up to ORD to see how it is done, if anything.

See above.

ORD will be the busiest because United still thinks 50 seat RJ's are hella kool.

So @Seggy I'm back in the sandbox, fighting the ISIS' and feeling pretty damn frisky. I've seen you on here constantly since I posted my response to your half-assed response about ATL, ORD etc...Mr ATC.

(Comment: @Seggy is a Troll searching for weaklings who won't or can't back up their responses...end Comment ...(Comment is what is used to make sure this isn't actual US/Govt, Federal etc etc Policy , but individual comments, (but possibly most likely factual)

Got a reply?

Gonna answer the question?

Or......as usual you just talk out your hole till someone calls you on it?

Pathetic, or truly full of information that'll shut this 30+ yr ATC up, because I AM SURE you're more informed than me.

Or you are taking part in the military industrial complex of our country by being a government contractor making a ton of money, tax free of course.

Hardly a troll. The bottom line is other facilities in this country, with busier airspace, don't slow you down like ATL TRACON does.

Why are you taking is so personally? Could it be because you know I am right and can't stand that fact?

Ok, I will respond to your other post to make you feel better.

As usual, you didn't answer the question. You're NOT a controller, just like I'm not a Commercial pilot, so stop talking out your ass about things you don't know about.

I do know that other busy facilities don't slow you down like ATL Tracon does. When was the last time you flew into ATL, one of the NYC Airports and ORD in the cockpit to compare?

ATL has within 16NM of the airport the 2nd busiest airport after ATL (PDK), the 4th busiest airport (FTY) as well as a highly active military base with everything from Lockheed Martin F22 plant, the C30J plant, etc, etc, etc. But, I'm sure you already knew all of this because you are so wise and all knowing.

Hmmmm.....NY has LGA, JFK, TEB, EWR, HPN etc., etc., etc., to deal with and they try to keep you at 250 as long as possible. Why doesn't ATL?

Unlike you however (I could be wrong as you never answered the question), I do go to other facilities to see how things are done. I've spend/spent off days at USAir in CLT pre '99 doing SIM scenarios, post '99 @ DAL HQ doing some FAM/Sim time as well as over 100 FAM flights since 1986, both International and CONUS so I could see how what I say and do affects the other half.

Again, how many high density facilities have you visited so you can be a know-it-all on the subject?

I have been to zero high density facilities. But I see what I see. Yes, there may be a reason for that, but it is what it is.

When was the last time you were in the cockpit in a 121 operation?

.
LAX, MSP, and DTW all slow you down pretty damn early.

Thanks to the large number of you guys who showed up to picket hot damn I didn't realize how many of you guys work here now and THANK YOU for showing up.

You didn't "I got mine / pull up the rope" and that's awesome.

You're making it better for us, and way better for the next generation.

Thank you.

Why were they picketing?

SLC, SEA, SFO. hmmmm its like they all do.
There's also times at all of them where they don't slow you down.
210 vs 250 only will save what 2 minutes? If that. More time for Boars Head I guess.

This slow to 210 is after they slow you to .70 from center due to volume in the terminal.

Once again, ORD TRACON and center is as fast as humanly possible.
