Boeing 787 Dreamliner

I was working directly overhead of Moses Lake the day they were practicing and filming and got to watch the display from about 500ft above them. They would go up for about 8 minutes at a time and in all they went up at least 4 times while I was in the immediate area over the course of about an hour and a half to two hours.

That had to be interesting to witness! :)
yeah, I was to the north when I noticed them the first time and only would see the plane every once in a while as the sun hit it in the turns and it reminded me of the demo they do, but did not know that was what was going on at the time. Then they landed and came back up again and this time I was in the immediate area of the airport and also heard Approach holding aircraft as they had shut the airport down for those 8-10 minutes while it was doing the routine. It was hard trying to actually work and line up on shots and watch them, but it was still really cool what little bit I was able to actually watch them.

hey, you're supposed to be taking pictures of the ground. Shenanigans like this are killing your mission productivity and you will be reported to C-money.
:sarcasm:
Good catch dude!

haha, we actually worked hard that week and it paid off as I haven't touched the plane in 7 days lol

If you tried that with an Airbus....

"I can't do that Dave."

You can do over 60* of bank in normal law, it's pretty accommodating actually. I haven't exceeded 30* in normal line operations and anything over that starts to scare the people in back IMO.

To anyone who has not actually flown an Airbus, "shut yer mouf." It's a great plane that can do a lot. Yes it has it's quirks just like any plane. Don't get caught up in laws, Flyby, etc. Boeing builds great airplanes(I respect their game.) Never flown one so I don't have anything negative to say.
