Great Job Delta!

So I think we have now established somebody isn't doing "research for their boyfriend". You had a nice run at being a closet troll but to know Seggy's first name and some previous ALPA leadership people is more than any "girlfriend" is going to know. Congrats on 425 posts in a little over a month without outing yourself.

You can think whatever you want...it doesn't matter to me. I know his name because it has been posted on this forum before, and I am fully aware of leadership, because there are these great things called books. Now, they come on an amazing thing called a Kindle and can be delivered magically within seconds and not weigh down a bag like the older (although still better in some ways) options. "Glory Lost and Found" has quite a bit about Lee Moak, and I do get to see the current ALPA magazines. I might be one of the few readers of it, though. I can't say it is that interesting a read, but one can hope that one month it would be. But, what initiative is there when most members don't read it?

Dude, it's all good. Just admit the truth. No girlfriend comes on here to gain this knowledge. I've been watching your posts and it's not normal "girlfriend" behavior.

My wife doesn't even know who I fly for and she's absolutely more invested than you "as a girlfriend".

Wait, your wife doesn't know that? That is interesting, and a little odd. You know, all girls are different, right? You haven't read all of my posts...but it is a fun conspiracy theory, I must admit. :D

She knows where I fly, and what I fly, and has contact info if needed, but the main principles I fly, there are very few who know of them much less know them outside of their world. I keep it that way on my end for their privacy.

Nobody has time to read all 425 of your posts in 1 month. I've been here over 10 years and you are setting a record pace for being just a girlfriend.

With that, best of luck with whatever you're doing here. I don't think your motives are what you say they are, but I honestly couldn't care less either way.

Man, we need a JC version of Reddit Gold. You'd deserve it.
best I got.

I am fully aware of the politics, this was a discussion about a gate, a gate, Mark. Not who is a better organization or what skeletons they have in the closet.

Shelby, gross human rights violations is more than skeletons in one's closet, especially when it is still going on across the society as we see today.

You are a hypocrite to be in one thread talking about equality and love being love and then defending an entity in this thread where you can be put to death for being gay.

I still love Delta, and as long as I have been flying, have been most loyal to them, so I don't know where you thought I didn't.

Let me put this bluntly, does your boyfriend want to fly for Delta? If so, then I would stop looking like a fool defending Qatar and how they tried to spin what happened in Atlanta.

No matter how hard you try to get me to be a huge supporter of your union politics, I won't ever be, so don't even try. I am a lot more open-minded than you will ever be. You aren't Lee Moak, or Tim Canoll, and won't ever be. They are the authority, not you.

This is BY FAR the best thing you have ever typed on here so far. This shows your incompetence and absolutely lack of an understanding about what is going on.

You are absolutely right, I will never be Lee Moak or Tim Canoll. I will never start a DC based consulting agency such as the Moak Group and then do 'branding' for the RAA. Tim Canoll is certainly no authority as well. Because you don't agree with my politics, do you agree with the politics of Moak and Canoll? They are the opposite of mine so by you saying you would never would be a supporter of my politics, I guess you agree with how they have 'led'?

Do me a favor, next time you fly Delta, walk up to a Delta Pilot with an orange lanyard and ask tell them how great of a job Lee Moak did.

Once again, I beg of you, PLEASE go up to a Delta Pilot with an orange lanyard on and tell them how great of a leader Lee Moak was.

Again, I don't care what leaders they were/are. I don't care about the politics with ALPA, it doesn't concern me and never will. You turned a simple discussion into a debaucle but there is a trend there. Regardless of how others feel of the leaders, they were appointed for a reason and like most Presidents in any organization, few are revered by everyone. Glad you know my name, it took some assistance to find that I am sure. :p Conspiracy theories never get traction. :tinfoil: Hope you have read the Delta book. It is quite interesting.

I know plenty of Delta pilots and other staff, and not all are as negative about things as you claim.

Your boyfriend is flying for ASA, the politics of ALPA do concern you now.

No, actually you opened your mouth and decided you were going to educate us. Yet you have no clue what is going on.

Also, spelling.

I promise you I will never read that book.

Whoooaaaa, what are you claiming here? That the current Delta Pilot contract is acceptable? What were your thoughts on the TA from a year ago?

Thanks for correcting my spelling. Typing on a phone and editing it can be fun. Regardless of who he flies with now, or in the future, the politics of whatever Union he has to join will never concern me. I support him with whatever decisions he makes, but in the end, they are fully his to make. It isn't my thing to worry about, I stay informed, and help him stay informed, but otherwise, it doesn't interest me. I am there to offer support if he needs it, because he is an amazing guy, but he respects my viewpoints. I like learning both viewpoints, but don't subscribe to them if I don't agree. No different than you refusing to read a book that might teach you something. Must be boring being so one sided. I prefer to look at both sides and form my opinion. I'm not as consistent as you with loyalty, but that is my choice. A lot of people respect that. I am quite transparent.

Avgirl, I agree with @Stone Cold

I'm a prolific online poster (need to cut back) but your post record far exceeds even the nerdy amounts. I've been here on this forum off and on for 15 years and I gotta say the poser-types are easy to spot. I saw it with Tomcatter, Kontjase, and I think at least a couple more names I can't recall at the moment. If you really are a girlfriend of a pilot and want to learn about flying and the career itself, there's no way you'd go head to head against @Seggy on the topic of ME3, subsidies, and which leaders in ALPA were good versus bad. Not only is it the topic choices you choose, but you have long posts about things that most non-pilots wouldn't give a crap about. So I feel fairly confident when I say: dude, let it go. If you are really interested in this career then all by means learn as much as you can and get your certificates and ratings. But you are arguing with ATP pilots who actually have something invested in this career, about things like ME3 and subsidies, ALPA politics, etc. You're eventually gonna out yourself one way or the other. So why tryhard with topics that are mundane to non-pilots?

Do you fill out his applications for him as well? Maybe interview for him too. He should have the drive to learn this all on his own, it's actually something most legacies look for in candidates. Does he post on here?
