Classy move by JetBlue

I am in no way a homophobe, hate monger or whatever else you are trying to label me as. But I will in no way ever support the LGBT or whatever it is movement. You want to be gay, be gay. My give a *I don't have the education to emote without using a curse word* meter is broke.
Then why open your mouth about it?

I will say, I was listening to a conservative talk radio station the other day, and it is very scary how a couple of folks called In saying what happened in Orlando was good for society. These Christians Claimed that God wants the gays killed off. How is this different than Islam?
Words vs. actions. As deplorable and disgusting as people like the Westboro Baptist Church are, I don't recall the last time anyone pledged their allegiance to Fred Phelps and massacred 49 people. Not to say it hasn't happened in the name of Christianity, but the recent trend...

First of all I do not discuss my feelings, especially on the internet. Secondly, you must be kidding asking about what I think about integration or the civil rights movement. What the *I don't have the education to emote without using a curse word* does that have to do with fact I do not support the gay rights movement?? I will say this about what has happened. It is really ed up what happened in Orlando. The loss of life was unnecessary. I am in no way a homophobe, hate monger or whatever else you are trying to label me as. Integration was but one of the battles in the civil rights movement. Gay rights are part of the civil rights movement. The struggle for civil rights is not limited to gender, race, or sexual orientation. If you do not see or understand that, well, there's not much to discuss here.

No one wants to be gay. They want to be themselves. They just are.

Did you choose to be straight? For all of those who are insistent that being gay is a choice, I immediately think, "This person is actually gay, but refuses to accept it, and therefore sees it as a choice since they themselves are suppressing their own sexuality." Someone who is straight would understand they didn't choose to be straight, and would likely understand that it's probably the same for those who are gay.

I think the same thing!

Very sad that people forget it's 2016.

I think even evangelical Christians are in Version 2.0 of the religion whereas Islam isn't there. Around here we're talking about Evangelicals not wanting to decorate cakes in their shop vs dozens of Muslim countries where being gay is outlawed. Killing them, bulldozing them, throwing them off rooftops...Not the equivalent of the narrowmided intolerance we talk about in this country. Just a hunch but I would imagine the majority of gays around the world would dream of the way we celebrate being gay here.

I don't think any of my gay friends were sitting around drinking beer one day and thought, "Hey, you know, wife, kids, comfortable suburban lifestyle… I think I'll volunteer myself to be seen a pariah in some circles of culture, lose parts of my family, get discriminated against both openly and systematically, that sounds great! I'm gonna try out the gay thing!"

Whenever I hear something homophobic, my first thought is, "Man, what's he say about brown folks when I'm not around?"

Don't be coy, ALA. You know They all have the same Homosechschual Agender. Something about sapping and impurifying all of our bodily fluids. Right, Mandrake?
Now wait a minute, how does homosexual and agender work? Only attracted to other androgynous people?

All I know is my gut says maybe.

"Only got hired because of..."

Some of the things I hear are pretty sickening.

So it's perfectly okay to make all the gay pride comments you want, but a straight guy/gal who has an opinion that is different will be ridiculed? That is real classy.

Certain personal views should be kept out of the cockpit.. Always remember CVR is on. If God forbids something catastrophic occurs, (Colgan for example) the pilots "personal opinions" will be made national news headlines. Picture Wolf Blitzer saying "We have Breaking News on what the pilots were discussing moments before "" """ """ ).

Something similar to what brown folks say when (insert group) isn't around.

Point being everybody talks. Or you think some groups rise above it all?

I flew with another brown pilot for a five day and you know what we talked about? Where we were going to go for happy hour that night, the KC-135 and pre-merger comparisons of our two former(-ish) airlines.

Don't put that stank on me in order to justify what foolishness other people involve themselves with! :)

oh, and Scotch. Because I'm not really a Scotch guy buy I like Whiskey and Bourbon, so basically… Entry-level beginners Scotch.

He's right across the lounge, maybe I can convince him to register and confirm.

No, clearly I'm not saying you.....we're talking groups.

Let me meet you halfway. You're saying pilot that matches my ethnic demographic, as a relative "whole", speak disparagingly of other ethnic demographics when amongst one another?

I've been a brown guy for… lemme see… almost 46 years and you are incorrect. I'm more than open to opposing information (not "I think"), but without secret camera footage, I think you're making a grand mischaracterization.
