Leave AA for Fedex?

I upgraded on the 190. I'm currently around 70 of 110 and get a decent block. Im about the same relative seniority as I would be on the bus. Going to stick it out here until the dust settles from the SLI.

So not only are you at AA. You're a CA. Skip the psychiatrist, dude you need a punch in the face and the nads at the same time to wake up. :aghast::aghast: :D

I could understand if you were bottom barrel FO on reserve, but hot damn....

Haha yea if there was evidence that the legacies were trying to compete and not furloughing from the top and giving away market share I would be more than happy staying here. Right now I've got a great deal. But I'm looking 35 years out.

Nobody knows what's going to happen 35 years out. Nobody knows what's going to happen 10 years ok. Try not to stress it too much. If you are happy where you are, stick it out. If you aren't, consider the lateral(ish) move if you get an offer after the interview.

The industry has changed its shape forever. Now more so than ever, there will be some semblance of stability going forward. IMO, the top 3 DL/AA/UA are going to be the "too big to fail" category. Obviously we can't predict 35 yrs out, but I think AA will be around in some form/shape.

Yea but you never know. I actually just read an article in this magazine where an economist is proposing the government relax cabotage restrictions. It's coming. And it will come up out of nowhere.
