How to get me not to tip:

Nobody tips me for getting them safely from point A to point B... I honestly don't see why it falls to me and not the hotel or my employer to pay them. That said, I usually tip anyway out of social convention :P However, when they're rude, drive crazy or don't lift a finger for my bags, I don't usually tip. *puts on flame proof suit*

"And ladies and gentlemen, don't forget to tip your pilots! Thank you for flying (insert airline here)."

I tip if I have cash on me, which is about 70% of the time. I try and make an ATM before a trip, just to have cash to tip.

Yeah, If I remember to bring cash I tip the driver out of convention. I don't see the point. Why do I have to tip every day person that provides a service? It's getting a little out of hand...and this coming from someone who worked 4 years in a tipped job. Frankly I am tired of it and if that makes me a bad person, so what?

Don't be a jackass. Tip the van driver a $1. Incidentally, I've noticed a correlation between weirdos and people that don't tip. Anybody else notice that?
I haven't noticed that AT ALL. At my last shop, everyone tipped. Always. The new shop, not so much. I guess it's because we have a lot of new to the industry faces here, but I would say tipping is about 50%, and those that don't aren't any more of a "wierdo" than those that do. I have to think that any correlation you see is simple confirmation bias.

I tip $1 regardless of anything. $2 if they are somehow exceptional or if I'm traveling with only one other pilot and not the full crew.

I get the good luck to get the van driver with a lead weight in his toe and a ball bearing in his ankle. I tip him just for getting me there alive. Seriously, I had no idea you could pull G's in a van.
