Aeroflot gear collapse

Apparently, an Aeroflot airplane either had a gear up landing or collapsed the gear a little bit ago. Our pilot going home reported it and I get to head to the airport to take them to France in a few hour. I'm flying out of a different airport though, so no selfies with the plane. Hopefully, there are no injuries.

No news has picked it up yet that I could see.

Air Bridge cargo sounds the same way.

Whenever I see or hear Air Bridge I can't help but remember one time I heard them in ORD.

They were taxiing out for departure, but stopped and reported to ground they had a cargo fire indication and would like to return to the ramp. Also asked that everyone be advised not to open any of their doors until advised...

ORD ground tells them to standby and goes back to controlling traffic. So they just hung out until someone said "hey ground, I think air bridge said they might be on fire."

Only then did it get worked out where they got heading towards the ramp.

I have to think that if I were in their shoes I would be telling ground what I needed, not asking. And if I was sure it was a fire "we're getting out here, roll the trucks."

How polite of them to ask. Very un Russian like.
