IIRC, it's very difficult to get a work visa if you aren't Australian. Would be really cool though.

The only countries I am aware it is required are the US, Canada, and China. However the posting did say that an ICAO or FAA license was preferred.

I just priced the Work Visa, and the visa is 5K USD, so unless QF will be sponsoring the visa, thats all on you. I dont see there not being sufficient Aussies wanting to work for QF.
