More like some poor 190 FO who is waiting a training date for another aircraft is going to be held another couple of months.

Not that being held is necessarily a bad thing.
 
The posters for our program are in several places in the crew room. The number is out there. They can't help unless the call is made.
Unfortunately most cases result in rock bottom events before the call is ever made. Usually this is with an arrest like this, DUI, etc. It is sad to see people in a state of helplessness but the HIMS program is arguably the best program out there for pilots with substance abuse/over use problems.

Even for less serious issues. I know from experience. Seek support in any way you can before it becomes something more serious! Like any other disease, the earlier it's caught, the better.
