Yeah. This was at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary near the snack area so I'm sure there was plenty of food.
I saw a few more water dragons around Brisbane, including this one. I don't think that's what they meant when they printed the sign.
Also, I don't normally post pictures of myself (I like people here to think I'm some 55 year old, overweight pilot named Jimmy), but it's kind of hard to not post this one. Queensland is one of the only states in Australia that still allows people to hold Koalas. The animals have better work rules than Spirit pilots do (no more than 30 minutes of holding each day and no more than 4 days of holding in a row). They get fed constantly while being held to keep them distracted. They are taken care of VERY well.
The kangaroos on the other hand are left to fend for themselves from the visitors to the park, allowing people to take selfies with them... Or as my girlfriend called them "roo-fies", until she thought about it and decided that wasn't really a good term for it.

SEA region pictures never, ever get old. I've only been up there once, when I was in high school. Hoping this career takes me up there at some point. Absolutely wonderful.

In the late 90's, I lived on Dexter Ave, sort of the back side of Queen Anne. I wasn't a real happy person living there because reasons, but I see these pictures and I do get nostalgic for the place a little bit. I'm certain it's totally unaffordable to live there now - it was getting expensive when I was there.

Do you lay out the waypoints in FF first and then fly them?

Yep. Fingering a cool track on FF takes some time. Now I have an iPad Pro it's a bit easier. Completion rate is very low 20-30 % or so. Traffic, airspaces, winds, distractions, lost beacons degrade precision flying. I butchered a lot of cool tracks.

Looks like a chinese Goshawk ripoff.
