Your pretentious attitude does not impress us who are looking to get into the industry

I hate that I'm going to bite on troll bait here, but just maybe if you're not. This forum is not just for people looking to get into the industry, but also those of us in it.

Anyone who has worked at a regional and most who are there currently understand the twisted humor in the photo. It's just funny.

If Airplane were to be remade today, I could easily see this as a scene. Of course, you probably don't find that movie funny either.

I'm not sure why you consider @manniax pretentious. All of the forum members (excluding you) appreciate the contributions and insight provided. You'll need thick skin to survive the airline industry.

I was just going to say that. It takes a certain personality type that can dish it out, but also take it. Getting offended at every turn isn't going to do anyone any favors.

I am going to go wayyyy out on a limb here in saying that I don't think this industry is for you...
Unfortunately for all of you I'm already several thousand dollars invested in this venture. Before year-end I'll be at a shop working alongside some of you and eventually be at american. I have connections.

Not with an attitude like that. Connections or not, it's a small world when it comes to the airlines and when a company is making a decision whether or not they want to have you around for the next half century, they do take into account attitude, and how well you get along with others. Getting offended at everything won't help you there. We have one where I'm at now. They have a hard time getting along with people, they get offended by every little thing, and (surprise surprise) they have trouble with management and id be willing to bet these are the kind of people that will be considered lucky to even get a TBNT email.

It's called humor. You'll need a good dose of that to get through some days at a regional. I haven't been around as long as a bunch of other dispatchers on this forum, but they have good advice, and some hilarious stuff. It'd be good for you to sit back and soak it up instead of preaching to everyone how "pretentious" they are and how well connected you are
