What are some of the best regionals out there today in terms of pay, bases, benefits, upgrade times and contract agreements with major carriers?
PSA growth is still happening but upgrade times are now over a year and will be increasing. Most bases are outstations. That means a two leg commute from anywhere that isn't an airline hub. FO pay still sucks. AA is way behind the curve with their regionals.Any comparisons between, piedmont, PSA, Endeavor, compass, and Skywest?
There is no such thing as a "best" regional, only one that sucks the least for you. You'll hear 100 different answers so it's important for you to research bases, equipment, career potential, etc in your own terms and goals for yourself.
Or if you absolutely love Chicago..
Skywest IMO is only recommended if you live out west. Even then Compass isnt a bad option.

Non-Delta Regionals. The only regional that flies for Delta that has a base in Atlanta is XJT. XJT has many issues and Atlanta is a bit senior from what I remember. XJT on both sides currently has a completely unknown upgrade time for new hires. If I reside in ATL, what Regionals should I look at?

Thanks all. I am starting to make plans and want nothing to do with commuting anywhere. The pay is abysmal enough, I should be able to have say on QOL.SkyWest... ATL will probably go junior when the base opens.
I would say Delta is the best right now. Sure you have to fly an old-ass (you can totally say ass) MD88 6 legs a day, but the chance to flow up to an Airbus one day is a great opportunity.
