It has begun...

I think I've only gotten two tickets as well but I'm getting a driving record just to make sure.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I'm going to the DMV tomorrow to request mine - I'm actually glad you said something so I can get it in process now.

What regionals are giving out written tests during the interview? Only recent interview I've heard of doing that was ExpressJet.

TSA. 50 questions, pretty much straight from the Sheppard Air prep.

Just waiting on my driving record and then I'll be submitting my application! I was also mistaken on entering every make and model of plane flown. You are able to group together aircraft. So I made a group for C172/150/152, PA28-151/161/181, PA28-201R, SR20/22, and PA23/44/GA7 for my multi.

went to the DMV and picked up my driving record today. The driving history is blank. So I guess the two moving violations I have are old enough they dropped off...? If I have to list them anyways (one literally was when I turned 16), good luck remembering when, since they don't show on my record.

I didn't know they call that early

I applied to a company recently after a Job offer fell through- Application submission to first contact was <24hrs, 1 week to interview and interview to verbal job offer <24hrs. Paperwork came in less than a week later.

The hiring environment for (re)entry level positions is changing drastically. You've got more options now than 12 months ago. Apply early, apply often and go with the best deal you can get. But be a professional and treat everyone with respect and courtesy because no future is certain.

Get started on it soon. They want hours in type, PIC, CFI, etc. If you're dumb like me and still only use a paper logbook it's going to to take you some time. Also get a driving record from the state. You'll have to enter every traffic violation and ticket. It's time consuming.
So do you have to order your driving record from every state you've lived in? Or just your current one?

I've only lived in NY so it is pretty easy for me. I'm not sure how it works if you've lived in multiple states.
You can pay for an all-encompassing driving record that spans all 50 states. Not all counties, municipalities, and states keep records the same way though. And if you received a citation before the world went digital, there is a good chance it is gone simply because they lost the paperwork. That happened to me on a couple.

Got my driving record today and it doesn't show any tickets or violations. I know I got one in the summer for a busted headlight and I got a red light camera ticket as well. I'm curious why they didn't show up. I'm going to talk to a recruiter and ask him what to do.

There is no compelling reason to NOT disclose moving violations that you know about, even if they don't appear on the NDR.

Exactly. Airline apps wants specific dates and stuff which I don't remember at all. Guess I have to do some more work.

I put ballpark dates (and locations) when I didn't know.

Good lord maybe I'm getting too old for this. I literally can't even remember the year on one, let alone even approximate month. 2002? Maybe. Will have to get the national record. My MO record (only state I've lived in) shows a blank history.
