Not sure if I follow your question. Nothing has changed in 5 years other than pay going up a couple times.

I don't quite understand what the "3 days off at any time" means either. Since the position is paid by trip, do you mean that pilots can just request 3 day blocks of unpaid time off?

Fair enough, it's a bit complicated but in a good way I think. We require our pilots take off a minimum of 6 days per month (you can take more) in up to 3 day blocks at a time. If you want to take off more than 3 days you need to dip into your paid vacation which starts at 14 days per year and goes up to 21 days after 3 years. Now, we pay by the trip so if you take off a ridiculous amount of time then you don't get paid...so folks that want to fly more make more. In the end I see people taking around 80-90 days off prospectively per year and getting paid for around 150 trips in that same time.

Clear as mud [emoji857]?

So for example you can take 9 days off in a month, just in 3 day blocks, but if you need a longer stretch you would need to use vacation time.
Thanks for clarifying!

This is the 3rd or 4th post I've seen like this recently. Are people actually getting responses like this? To me it's akin to walking up to a random girl and saying, "Here's my number, call me". And then walking away. Doesn't seem very effective.

Love this.
