Couple of other ways to tell the difference between a 5 and a 550 besides the windows, the inboard portion of the flap trailing edge isn't tapered to a point and I don't think the STC to do this applies to a 550.....

May be a dumb question, but is there any risk of being ingested from there?
I'd doubt it, but I suppose nothing is foolproof. The FAA did sign off on the STC to do it, some company out of Vegas named Drake something something, so I guess someone did some engineering. Seems like a silly way to spend a lot of money just to say you did it.
