Probably. I will continue to put my faith in fellow passengers in doing the right thing rather than those that are debating whether my soap stone is a cream or a foam (its a soap bar....) Remember when we could take a decently sized knife on board to cut the over cooked scallops, steak, etc..... Oh those were the days. Or maybe I just loved the Continental/Air Micronesia Pub Planes.... Someone get me another drink!

Generally when people act a fool on the airplane, they don't come to the defense of the crew, they pull out their camera phones.

There are a lot of voyeurs that want to prove they were present for it and how we were potentially harmed.

TSA confiscated my tube of toothpaste the other day. While I was in uniform. I said, "you know I'm flying the airplane and I have access to an axe on the flight deck right? And your worried about my tube of toothpaste"?

I can only shake my head. Stinkin blueberries.

They also can't confiscate medical liquids. You can bring whatever you want through in a bottle labeled 'Contact Solution'. Need Shampoo AND Conditioner? 'One bottle for each eye'.

I don't know. After the Southwest flight where pax killed a guy who was being unruly, after subduing him until he became unconscious; I'm leery of good intentions vs actual actions, and when the result goes wrong. Granted the guy's own actions got him the attention, but how the force was applied was obviously excessive, intended or not.
