Holy crap! They moved that thing over from HWD? I used to park next to that bird all the time and over the course of year, I don't think it ever flew. It really warms my soul to see that it's apparently still airworthy.

MY GOD the B-727 is such a sexy, beautiful airplane. It's a shame on Boeing that they have no plans for...."revisiting this design" somewhere in the very near future.
Miss these very much. (and the booby cone and sun blister is some black ops coolness!)

Great plane. I would to see it re done as a two engine plane with bigger fan engines. Move the apu into the tail and put a bogey on the main gear. She has too heavy of a footprint currently.

The wing is an engineering master piece that could use a few tweaks to make it more efficient.
