I can confirm that ABX has begun flying 767 aircraft into TPA ... and that's all I can say.
They would set up an LLC, no reason to run the liability risk. Even its part 91, why would it matter ? Being safe is being safe .
If Amazon sets up a complete shipping operation, shipping its own products, could it conceivably run as a pt 91 operation, since they are shipping their own freight?
Yup. Was going to say. Part 125.Aircraft that size cannot be operated under Part 91. Part 125 would be the closest avenue, but the FAA would push an operation of that size towards 121.
Alex.
NAC as well.Yup. Was going to say. Part 125.
I've heard southern was flying some for them as well.
I was there that year. UPS used weather as a weak excuse. They accepted record volume without the people or planes to move it. The next year they overcompensated. This year remains to be seen. They better pray for good weather and for everything to go as planned. One interesting note...first part said they were upset at UPS for how they handled the issues of few years ago. Like Amazon can control the weather.
Not when you plan on doing what they intend to do. You want cat 2, LOA, you want MELs, LOA, 91 has its place and the FAA knows that. And think about how long it will take to get up to a size and operation like UPS or FedEx. PANOPS, NATOPS, cat3c. The list goes on and on. It took VA almost 2 years to get etops.Because p91 is easy and cheap.

Read part 119 then 125.I'm not privy to the rules with airplanes of that size, but in a nutshell, why not?

no rest rules, by definition. I'm bound to 12 hours, 3 crew if we go past 9 hours flying or 12 hours duty . It's called liability .Probably because rest rules. If you had an aircraft like a 767 you really could run two guys into the ground with the 91 rest rules, which amount to nothing.
Interesting. I only buy items sold or fulfilled by Amazon-usually, for the very reason you've stated. It seemed that the last year I hadn't had a problem but in the last few months I've had issues ranging from wrong color/size/design/print all the way to obviously smashed before boxing, ship it anyways.I'm losing faith in a lot of the purchases there, to be honest.
How else are you going to get cheap stuff to the bush? The more I learn about Amazon the more I hate them.
plenty of mail order places that don't treat their employees like a bizarre combination of indentured servants and career hunger games, and that tape their packages with something stronger than TP.How else are you going to get cheap stuff to the bush?
You be quiet gussuq! Now fly in my chips and pop!!! But seriously, what village has Dominoes???plenty of mail order places that don't treat their employees like a bizarre combination of indentured servants and career hunger games, and that tape their packages with something stronger than TP.
Also if you want modern convenience, buy a one way ticket out of your crappy village. Don't whinge about how changes to EAS effect your ability to live a subsistence lifestyle, subsistence on Dominoes pizza maybe.
