Any RAVN pilots out there?

Not directly I suppose. They cornered a couple of hagey transfers into the 1900 in the last go around. Supposedly the 1900s are going to be phased out over the next couple of years.
I heard some rumors that Hagey might get their old ones, but I'll believe that when I see it. I know the C models already came over, did they ever sell the 406s?

Maybe we will get King Airs!

I have zero experience in the flying forehead but I don't think the payload is as good as the Cs.

I think...if memory serves from when i flew C models, that it's actually harder to use the D model for cargo because of certification requirements for exits and netting that don't exist in the C, that and the C model has a 1000lbs gross weight kit (that's basically just paperwork) that takes it up to 17,600. I have also heard that you are right in this regard for combi stuff like Haggies would do in the D, from what I've heard the Guppy is a bit heavier airframe - but that's all hearsay.

Sides', the C Model is a sexy beast - the D, not so much.

If you're not digging little Ace, then depending on your times there are probably better options than Ravn out there. My thoughts would go to Everts and the like. How much time do you have?

From everything I've heard about Everts, I won't be going anywhere near their airplanes. Pay sucks and they don't fly much. I've also heard horror stories about guys getting pushed into FE positions "temporarily". I'm attracted to RAVN because the pay is good, much better than Horizon, and the 121 time. I'm only cautious about the upgrade time.
