RAH TA

I'm glad they finally got something. Now it will be interesting to just sit back and watch and see where all the pieces land. I just can't believe that this TA is going to solve all or even most of the problems they face.

It's going to get interesting seeing starting pay in the regionals go to $40/hour. I can't wait to see what our recruiting numbers are going to look like over the next year.

Congrats guys/gals! You deserve it!

The majors will adjust FFD to match the current state of the industry when the time comes.

Congrats again! Sit back, relax and watch those recruiting numbers rise (back to normal staffing and/or above)! FINALLY

Ha! Not sure if that's sarcasm or not but I would definitely think it would start to show where the numbers need to be and how deep this shortage is.

For me personally it means I can cut back on my construction work. I've been able to make it somewhat work at $35.52 so all things being equal $43 will help out a ton.

401k is bad, but there is a lot of little goodies in there like out of base reserve, long call, aggressive pickup window etc. that help RSV pilots out. Best pay scales and 125% above 87 hours is nice as well.

That is above 87 hours block + DH. Rolling average Max is 83 1/3. So once you max out 1000/365, you have to throttle WAY back to get the chance to do that incentive pay. First question will be "WELL- WHO will actually do 1000/365??" To that I simply say, "Do the math. You can easily predict the limit on incentive pay, not counting the hours of DH it would take a maxed out pilot to get that pay. IMO, because of that, I think the 125% is too low and was written in to add yes votes. There are quite a few things that I think people didn't fully understand.

While I love to hate the company 83 1/13 would be block time to reach 1000 in a year. With training and vacation I've never flown more than 800 hours in a year while I've been here. I still think the new contract has quite a number of issues I don't really see that as one. If the new rigs and pay rates were applied to this and last months schedule it would work out to about $1800 more per month,

I credited 96 for September on reassignments, 89 hours sked last month and I'm at 102 hours for November. Before the summer when picking up open time kosher I'd easily have over 100 hours credit. I think it was March I had 132. I'm sitting at 790 hours of block for the year.

I'd love to hate the company, too, but if they put a cool toy in the crane game, I want to be able to grab it.
