See that, that's why I make certain the crew calls me Supreme Commander when I take my position in the cockpit. @Polar742 and I were having this conversation recently in Member Announcements. By establishing the pecking order directly, we can facilitate the proper CRM. I find it especially helpful when the crew acknowledge my greatness immediately. Then for the remainder of the trip, they all know I'm right and not to be questioned.

I'm pretty sure this is somewhere in our FOM. The CRM chapter is about 4 pages and behind forms, marshalling signals and other miscellany. @dasleben will attest.

I'm pretty sure the top part of our list strongly abides by this memo.

I think all that is still in the AA FOM too. Heck, even in the 21st century the co-pilots still can't use the PA to let the flight attendants know to prepare for takeoff. That's the captains job, while taxiing the plane.
