RAH TA

Does anyone get 100% at the regional level?

The 401k contribution is pretty abysmal considering how long so many of us get stuck at this level.
TSA was a 100% and they were terrible...most are 100% now...only a few don't

401k is bad, but there is a lot of little goodies in there like out of base reserve, long call, aggressive pickup window etc. that help RSV pilots out. Best pay scales and 125% above 87 hours is nice as well.

Why is 100% dhd pay so important to some? I always thought it was about the entire pie, not just a single piece. I have never deadheaded more than once every couple months at colgan and have done it once in over 2 years at airways. I just don't get why some people are all upset over it. Maybe other companies deadhead more?

I've had a 4 day with 3 DH's in it, not including my DH to/from DEN.

With FAR 117 DH has become more common, especially domestic. I usually have at least one DH each trip, sometimes 2-3. Really nice when I end a trip with a DH, get an alternate DH home and am paid to commute.

@L-16B too - it's probably a function of your work rules, how much you deadhead. The nice thing is that you can build a pairing that gets a full day of flying out of you and THEN positions you for the next full day, so there's some added capacity to be flexible/"innovate" there. It's probably a function of your equipment and whether or not you have added duty time limitations in your contract, if I had to make a somewhat educated but still wild guess.

For instance, I flew a "full" (4-leg) day that ended in Denver the other day, and then we deadheaded to DFW to make up the next morning's departure to my domicile (SFO), while the operating crew DEN-DFW got a longer rest to make up their return. It was a LONG day, but it paid very well with a 100% DH tacked onto a 6.7 hour credit day. It also likely saved someone from having 30 hours in DFW.

All of this is possible because they don't "count" on the end of your FDP.

I know you guys have no wide bodies (TAKE THAT EASTIES) but when you have to deadhead from IAH-NRT, you want 100% deadhead pay.

We do have 100%, in talking about for RAH. And our dhd was always pay no credit, so on top of guarantee.

I deadhead a lot. Additionally, I just had two unscheduled deadheads occur on my last trip due to some operational ineffectiveness on behalf of Delta Air Lines (re: downgrading capacity...only to then leave me and my crew with no airplane to operate).

Perhaps RAH guys don't deadhead a lot, but when I have one, if not two, segments in one trip that are deadheads I would like to be compensated 100% for it. Who wouldn't? lol
