CFI's needed at Riverside Flight Center in Tulsa, OK

Bump again...I'm headed to Ameriflight in a week and they are still actively seeking instructors. CFII is a plus as my shoes in the Instrument Program will need to be filled, but it's not required.

Is the housing free for 30 days or do you get to keep it as long as you're there? I only ask because their CT350 ad this morning made it seem like it's a permanent thing, but your post only says for 30 days. I'm down in OKC and starting CFI at OU in the fall. My first CFI worked there a long time ago and recommended it to me.

When I was there back in 08 it was as long as you liked. But you wouldn't get a pay raise. Plus you shared the room with another instructor, plus it was a 2 bedroom. Nothing like having 3 other instructors in the apartment. But like I said that was back in 08 and I moved on to the airlines.

Now it's 30 free days and $400/month all bills paid after that. But you also get your own room and bathroom and instructor apartments generally are nicer and have better furniture than student apartments. Anyway...with what they were paying back in 08, it would be unethical to not offer free housing...

Bump again if anyone wants it...I just talked to my buddy who's still there and they're pretty short staffed right now. CFII a plus, but not required.

Do they hire any part timers?
Generally speaking, no. That being said, if they're as desperate as they sound, they may be able to work something out. I'd check with them if I were you. You'd likely be doing time building checkouts and commercial single engine training only as a part timer.
