Hey All! Anyone else in this class? Excited to start! I'll be going to MCO to do my ATP CTP on the 14th, then class on the 28th. Does anyone know how long training is generally taking? I have heard sometimes there will be a 3 day, and sometimes a 3 week delay between training segments. My seniority will be crap (last 4 of my SSN starts with a 8) So I assume I will have plenty of time off? Any last minute advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I had a week between ground and sims and 2 weeks in between sims and IOE, my ssn is 95 and there were two higher than that so don't worry too much about it ;) get a good study group and work hard not to fall behind and it's not too bad. Good luck :)

A complete guess, but there's probably some 300 newhires in training right now between day 1 and the end of IOE, so....yeah, your class is likely to be large. I think the last one had around 60.

I am interested in knowing where we're sending folks for the CTP and what that program is like - shoot me a PM or so.

Just finished CTP in Houston @ ExpressJet's place. Got finished on 9/2. Pretty useless class, but I logged 8 hrs of Level D 145 time. An airplane that I will never fly IRL.

I live in the area. Lemme know if you have some free time.

Welcome to skywest. Training isn't too bad. Keep your eyes in the books during the week and let loose on the weekend.

I had a 2 month break between ground and sim. I had one week between sim and ioe.

I chose the two month break as I wanted to get paid and be at home.

Good luck.
