I should.
Just to watch your head spin.
It depends on the corporate culture. I can say "Well, I want to land at (diversionary airport) at no less than 4.0 so we have another 2000 until I'll call
bingo and
bug out and a vast majority of the people I'm communicating with in the cockpit will understand.
I don't know, whatever the corporate culture deems familiar that we're all speaking the same language, but my language with ATC is a little more direct because "emergency fuel" and "minimum fuel" mean very different things to controllers so I want to be very direct. Especially where it seems like the controller thought the pilot was trying to blow off the NOTAMS and "bully" his way into a closed airport because he didn't come right out and say "emergency fuel" or "minimum fuel".
I'm glad it all got resolved and, well, NOTAMS mean stuff.
