Even European pilots do not like Norwegian

So, I tried to do a Google image search on me, as a matter of interest. I used my picture in the "Toast" thread I started in the Lav, and got this:

"Your search - http://forums.jetcareers.com/attachments/image-jpg.32096/ - did not match any image results"

The same picture is on FB, which is public, so I would have expected SOMEthing.

Anyone bored enough to try? I'm not concerned about the results (good, bad or otherwise). Wondering if I did something wrong in using the Google tool, or if it isn't that accurate.

Yup. A simple google image search links her avatar photo to a girl in Italy. Her facebook and instagram are public, and it also shows her celebrating her 18th bday this year. @Koenigsberger_Katjase has 23 listed on her profile and claims to be from Germany.
Yup. That would be the girl. Didn't want to post the link since it was a mostly open profile.

On the subtopic. I don't think a girl who says she's a boy or vice versa is a big deal. Who cares. How is that any different than an internet "bad ass" who is pretty chill in person?

if this was Match.com or whatever is all the rage these days, that would be a bigger issue. But, if you're a female, a male, a Furry, a Wiccan, a transvestite (we've had those here), it doesn't matter when it comes to aviation.

Either you are dropping relevant content or you are not. Now if you're saying you're an F-14 pilot and you're nothing more than a pimply basement dweller or you're pulling a Tim Martin, that's a whole different story.

I'm all about the content. Now, the question if I'd trust that person with my money clip and a unshredded stack full of my personal information is another story.

<— I am not Roger Sterling or John Slattery. Stop blowing up my private messages asking me about acting lessons or jobs on Madison Avenue.

I seem to remember getting grilled pretty hard by MikeD about the claims I made when I first showed up on JC :)

Of course, I actually was who and what I said I was.

Ah, memories. We had an instructor at flight school that claimed he was an F-14 pilot. I didn't care much but later he was exposed as a fraud.

We had a controller claim to be a seal. It also came out that he was a fraud as well. It's funny how people think they can fib about their military career around aviation. Chances are your "lie" will get to someone who knows pretty quickly and will throw down the bs flag.

On any given day at the airport I see a number of Pilots with "Delta Crew" tags on their bags who aren't Delta Pilots........Just sayin'

I flew with a SEAL as well LOL.

I didn't even bother to check up on it. If he really was, cool story bro.

Yeah, that's the same.

Passing yourself off as something that you are not is passing yourself off as something you are not.

At best it says you're insecure and duplicitous. At worst you're just a liar. Either way, you can't be just a 'little bit' pregnant.

Pretty soon we can call you out as pretending to be an actual Pilot.

I'd say there are definitely degrees of fraud. A bag tag is low on the scale, and crafting an entirely fake online identity in order to troll is pretty high on the scale. On an online forum where most of us know each other in the real world and don't view this place as "just another forum," it should be taken very seriously.

I'd wager that I fly more than several of the airline guys here. I know I fly a lot more now than I did when I was still an airline pilot. I avoided work then. Drove up the effective hourly pay rate. :)

Years ago I worked for a regional airline that provided service to a mainline carrier. They (the regional) gave us (the regional pilots) bag tags that just had the mainline company's name on it.

Eventually they handed out ones that said Express underneath, but for about 3 years we had the same uniforms AND the same bag tags as Dad.

Granted, they were all about 59.5 years old and looked like they might die at any point in time, so you could still tell us apart.

Too be fair most of you don't know me. Then again I've been pretty upfront. Yes I have a FAA certificate, and my flight time is 0. I'm just a lowly dispatcher working a job I absolutely love at a regional.

I'll make it to the big leagues someday.

Oh and there are at least 5 members on here that know me personally. All of them are dispatchers though.

I find it unlikely. I found a Facebook and twitter account of the girl in the pic via an image search and the girl there isn't in the FAA database nor has anything aviation related on her FB. She also lives in Italy rather than Germany.

Given what has happened, can I ask what name you searched?

Looking up

"Koenigsberger_Katjase"

Showed nothing in google images that was her avatar.
