Well I suppose it's good that someone was unhurt enough to call. Fingers crossed.

Last I heard from my source was pilot DOA, 1 passenger trapped, 2 made it out of the wreck but injured. There is a rescue team hiking up from the beach as the weather was to bad to get a helo into hoist.

Uh, if its CFIT, then primary causal factor would be the pilot..... the guy at the controls of the plane. Anything regulatory related would be a tertiary factor.

Exactly. We don't have any idea.

But let's too understand how, in investigations, where certain factors relate and where they don't relate, before we start throwing random spears in the dark.
