The good the bad the ugly.
We have been hosting NetworkJC, in one form or another for well over a decade.
Generally, it takes a cash investment, planning time, RFPs, planning and, as you’ve seen a lot of begging for loot and committment from the group. It seems easy, but it's usually six months of very hard work and, let's just say I still have notes and contracts on my home office desk I haven't had a chance to clean out from 2010.
We have made the decision to take a one year hiatus and return in 2016.
But here’s the good news. We’re all still going to be in Las Vegas on the traditional weekend to meet with friends, share stories and pretty much stage an annual airline pilot geek takeover of Las Vegas.
The only difference is that there is no central “planned” event. We can all still hang out, nurse hangovers in the buffet and network, just that taking a short, but necessary, break will allow us the space to build a better event for 2016.
I fully understand a lot of you may be disappointed for Jetcareers to take 2015 off on a little “event planning vacation” but you can still join us in Vegas for the traditional debauchery and networking.
It’s uaully the 43rd (ish) week of the year, and let’s target the 17th through the 20th. Come for a day, hang out with whomever shows up. We’ll be there. (really!)
