Flying in sandals.. Opinion?

Holy sweet Jebus. The only thing more embarrassing on my first solo revenue flight than the sauna-like sweat pouring off me was the five minutes it took to figure out how to fold the damned sun shades.
My first solo revenue flight after training was HYA-BOS... Somehow I managed to get yelled at by that angry guy on Cape Approach in the process. Good times. Good times.

Not fair, that's what the 2 was for. Dick.

If it makes you feel any better, my IOE was ack runs with CS in October. Good times indeed.

Awesome. We need more like him, and less guys trying to pass off black sneakers as dress shoes.
Those were my AMF work shoes. So comfy.

If there's one thing I've learned on JC, it's that @ATN_Pilot will do whatever it takes to convince everyone that he has 1) more money than you, and 2) is an authority on personal and professional style, science, religion, finance, automation management, nutrition, and whatever else he reads about on the internet.

Frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of the Todd Show[emoji769], but @Derg keeps you around, so...

You forgot how "effective" ALPA is... ;)

You poor guy. I didn't know he flew the line.
I actually liked Craig. He was eccentric, but he knew then 402 and he understood (hell, he built) the system we operated in. If you could explain the battery relay min voltage requirement, you were going to have a good PC ride.

That must have been his favorite question. He asked me about it one day as I passed him in the hall of the retrix. Is that what put me on his good side?

I have a friend who likes to fly in sandals. He told me to try it once, that you can feel the plane a lot better. I personally fly on Mohocasin shoes that go easy on, easy off and every now and then I go "Barefoot" on the pedals, but just for stints. After all, why the heck are we wearing uniforms for, anyway?

Take Care

Disgusting. "Fashionistas" wear trendy garbage. That ain't me.

A fashionista is a devouted follower of fashion. Since you're so in the know about what is in fashion, and what isn't, as demonstrated by this thread, and your sensible fashion advice, I'd say that qualifies you as one.
