Aviation Charter FCM Update?

Hey there,

I'm looking for some more up-to-date information about Aviation Charter out of Flying Cloud in the Twin Cities. Got a call from their Chief Pilot today after I inquired about a King Air captain position on the orange site. Supposedly I'm having somewhat of an informal interview with him and maybe the DO in the near future. I don't personally know anyone who has been in or out of their operation recently, but I've heard some somewhat unappealing stories through the grapevine about it, and in particular the owner. The CP seemed like a decent enough guy on the phone. I'm also aware that this was the outfit who was flying former Senator Paul Wellstone on that fateful day, as well as the operator of a Beech 18 that went down @ FCM back in '09.

Can anyone provide any insight as to the QoL? As far as I know it's 24/7, 365 on demand. Any hard time off in there? Pay? Benefits? Company/pilot group culture? Perhaps shed some light on the relationship of the pilot group to management and ownership? Any info would be great. Looking to go as formally prepared as I can to this seemingly informal meeting.

Hence why I'm asking for more clarification! But yes those were my thoughts. The CP said on the phone "I'm on call 24/7, 365..." and I hope he meant for office work primarily.

Generally if you're in 135 management you're on call all the time..

Please record the next time he says 24/7, 365. And give it to the Feds. And office work does count as duty as far as I'm concerned.
