AA/US-AW. Now the fun begins.

It would be absurd if eagle flows get time for anything done at eagle. Rediculous.

Are those the Eagle flows who were improperly kept at Eagle and had seniority numbers at American before they actually made it to flying American mainline aircraft?

Or just regular Eagle flows?

Looks like they went DOH after the Dec 9 2013 merger. Wondering if anyone thinks they'll do DOH after the merger announcement in Feb 2013 like the other mergers have done. Guys hired a couple months prior to me have gained a ton of slots on some lists...sucks but I guess that's life.

On the flip side, AA has hired a metric ton since I was on property so that will help slotting in DOH, and most of the guys in the months prior to me on the LAA side are 15-20 years older than me.

I mostly didn't want to be so far out from my buds who were hired in 2013 on the LUS side.

So your rooting for your 2013 friends to not do as well? Anyways, I haven't seen anything reference anything other than a dec 9 2013 snapshot. This hurts us in some lists, and hurts in others (AAs).

Third (fourth?) listers being DOH is par for the course right? I think that's the only fair way to do it.

@wheelsup
Haven't had a chance to look at the proposals in depth yet (quick scan through though).

What is the proposal for the Eagle flow throughs that were brought on property after Dec. 9th?

Looks like all 3 sides agreed to DOH after Dec 9th. They even talked about how it's a little different from the past as usually it's after merger announcement but due to the difficulties in getting the merger approved it's Dec 9th. I don't think AA had run any classes prior to that....

You should have taken the risk and applied to airways before the merger like those of us hired before dec 9th did. Fortune favors the bold.

Can you explain this a little more? You were hired after 12/9/13 or before? How are LUS guys hired in 13 so much better off? I'm hearing a lot of talk about 13 hires at LAA vs LUS. Having a hard time getting my head around the methodology and the heartburn. Also, @ATN_Pilot @Seggy arent constructive notice pilots (2/13 and after) usually slotted DOH? I know the snapshot date is different than that.

Usually. I haven't seen the proposals, but from what I've heard of them, none of them include that, though, so the arbitrators are unlikely to impose something contrary to what everyone already agrees on. The less they have to decide for the parties, the happier they are.

After dec9, 2013 goes DOH and isn't under consideration in this SLI to my knowledge. The AA wish list has guys who flowed in November 2013 slotted in with third listers who had been at USAir from roughly 2010 thru 2013. Also the AA list has homes for all the furloughees above and integrated in with usair pilots, so you have the problem of to many asses and not enough seats on paper. I believe the AWE list has nicalou as their baseline.

I applied well before the merger announcement. Multiple times.

As did everyone hired in 2013 and 2014. You know exactly how the process was set up, random numbers were called. It was all about hitting the lotto. Not trying to be a dick but your reply was uncalled for.

I thought I heard you say before that you were one of the ones who couldn't justify the pay cut and didn't apply until after the merger was announced. My fault.
