I am lucky enough to be joining the team very soon. Ill be trying to get back to DTW, What would be faster, the 737 or the 757? And does it matter if I choose ATL or NYC as a starting base?
Thanks

I'd pick the ER if it were me. Some recent new hire classes have had DTW ER available or so I've seen on the other site...
The ER category includes 757-200, -200ER, -300, and 767-300, -300ER. It is referred to as "The 7ER" or just "The ER."I am not familiar with the aircraft designation 'ER'. Is that a new build?
Indeed, along with the 76T.I am not familiar with the aircraft designation 'ER'. Is that a new build?
Yes. When we had split categories, the domestic side was 764, and the transoceanic side was 765.And I think the "765" is the 767-400 category. That's separate from the 7ERs.
Indeed, along with the 76T.
I posted it because that's how United labeled the category. Since @Seggy always asks what an ER is.76T is just a cabin configuration. Along with Q, X, G, and one or two others. Unless your a flight attendant, they are not relevent.
Ah, gotcha. But then, they do wierd things over there.
So do we. We just don't write the full words out every time on every document. It's called expediency. That and ink isn't cheap.Yep! We label the flight deck positions as Captain and First Officer....not 'A' and 'B'.
