Drone?

I was flying along today fat, dumb, and happy. We were on a xcountry and were at our cruise of 6500 still in the Phoenix area.

I look outside to the left and see something very close. It zips by and I look behind in the rear window to see what looks like a drone or a helicopter/quadcopter something or rather.

I'm thinking no way it was a bird, no way it was a balloon it had to be a drone.

It was close enough to spook me.

After thinking about it some more i'm starting to question what I saw. Can drones fly that high? I have nil knowledge of those things.

Some have gone over 20k feet. I think the record distance wise on Youtube is around 40 miles each way. It's pretty crazy.
