Took a bald eagle off the nose wheel a few months back. It busted both bolts holding the main spring to the nose wheel and bent the spring beyond repair.

I once cooked a goose with the nr1 engine in my very last flight with the Metro right on touch down. I don't know how, but the compressor blades were unaffected even after having blood all over the fan.

Suddenly we started to smell something funny, seemed like something strange was roasting in the cabin during taxiing. The walkaround showed what was it in the end, the nr1 bleed treated us with a very nice goose bbq.
