VA to start flying to HI

I figured it would be with the 319..,., looks like it'll be current engine 320's. Any added central tanks in those planes? Haven't seen any with sharklets.
"Jersey Girl" has been flying around as the sole Sharklet A320 in the fleet for a few years meow.

Funny thing is even though $199 each way sounds cheap for these fares, you can often find United non-stop from SFO and Alaska from OAK/SJC for right around $300 roundtrip. I wish them luck, it'll be interesting to see them in Hawaii.

I fly them pretty much anytime I have to buy tickets so long as the schedule works out. But if the price is anywhere near Hawaiian's, I'd honestly fly Hawaiian. You still get a meal in coach and if my job has taught me one thing it's that Hawaiian almost never cancels. They will move mountains to get a flight out of SFO without a cancellation. I've seen an A330 break, then they sent a ferry up from LAX. Well, that broke too. Did they cancel? Hell naw. When the scheduled inbound from HNL got in around 930PM that night, they turned it right around and got everyone where they were going. Late as hell, sure, but they got there. And they gave all the pax a free flight to boot! I'm not sure about United with 737s doing so much Hawaii stuff now, but if a 757, 767, or 777 broke going anywhere from SFO(usually a hub with those planes), the go to move by UA was always to cancel the Hawaii flight and use the airplane to cover the much higher yielding hub-to-hub flight. With so few sharklet A320s in the Virgin America fleet when December rolls around(assuming the regular ones won't have ETOPS), a broken airplane is going to be a big problem for them. Especially the 3 days a week both SFO-OGG and HNL are operating.

?

Both HNL and OGG are scheduled to be daily. HNL fixed schedule daily, OGG daily with varying departure time depending on day of week.

The article I read said HNL starts daily in November and OGG will be 3x weekly starting in December. I'll take your word over the local news, ain't nobody got time to fact check.

This needs more widebody.
