How Do You Carry Your Paperwork?

Who am I? Where are my pants?
How do you 121 guys carry around your relevant paperwork -- crew badge, certificates, medical, RTO license, etc -- on a day-to-day basis?

Do you have it stashed all together in a pouch somewhere, or is it just helter-skelter in your personal effects? Given the need to produce your certs and medical to jumpseat, seems that you'd want them together and handy.

Obviously I've seen crew badges on neck lanyards, but what else do guys stow on there?
 
Ive only seen the folks keep them around their necks in their lanyards. It just seems easier that way. I used to fold up my schedule in a perfect little rectangle and keep it with my badge too. I think people are more likely to lose their wallets before losing their crew badge.
 
I have one of those clear plastic holders that I keep my certificate, medical, and all that in. I used to wear it on a lanyard but now I put in a shirt pocket. My ID badge gets clipped on the outside of my pocket.

This, not a fan of the lanyard look in uniform.
 
Leather wallet insert, holds all. I always put that in my left shirt pocket that buttons shut, along with my passport.

Crew Badge, KCM card on a laynard (I only need these when flying for work).

Pilot cert, CFI cert, Medical in my wallet (I need these when flying for any reason)

Passport, with RTO card tucked in, in my flight case (only need these when flying internationally)
 
Good question...I've been curious about the same. The problem carrying FAA certs in your wallet is they tend to deteriorate so quickly. I've been carrying all my certs in an envelope stored inside my headset case since my headset is always with me when I fly. I'm a month away from IOE so debating what to do then.

I've carried mine in my wallet for 15+ years now and I have never had that problem.


Personally, License, Medical, FCC are in the wallet (with me whenever/whatever I fly).
Company related items such as ID, KCM, Parking badge, etc. are all on my lanyard and are only with me when I'm traveling via air or at work.
Passport rides in opposite pocket as the wallet for easy access when clearing customs or KCM.
 
@jtrain609, they do still give out pins right? ;)

Wallet for the certificate, medical, radiotelephone operator's permit.

Lanyard (even a uniform-compliant one) for SIDA badge, KCM dongle, crew ID.

I'd rather lose the badges than the certificate, I think.
 
Certs (all three) sit in my wallet. Medical is in my passport, which is in my flight case (85% of the time - other 15% it is in my shirt pocket [for when commuting]). FCC license sits in a pocket in my flight kit.

ID, KCM are on a lanyard.

My certs have shown no ill-effects of being in my wallet.
 
ID on the lanyard. I have a passport wallet that has the mentioned document, yellow vac card, fcc license no one ever looks at, and a collection of various licenses and medical.

I used to use the clip-on-shirt pocket method, however a couple IDs jumped for freedom that way. LFMF
