United hiring

I gert a jerb! 3 years and five months after Sheffield I got an offer from a major. So grateful. And as usual would not have been able to if not for my friends from this forum. @mannix @mexipilot @izanti @Derg @cdndx and many many others who have given me encouragement, advice and have personally intervened on my behalf. Me and my family unit thank you. Now let me stop smelling up the room with my farts and get to back to work.

Yeah just forget all about me!

Kidding, congrats!

If you are relocating to the Chicago area for the position, part of the package is temp housing. I stayed at the Presidential Towers for a month and it was SICK. A short walk to work, 24 Hour Walmart in the building and all the perks of living near Greektown in the West Loop. There are a number of options in temp housing, I just chose this one because of the short walk in Winter. There are other swankier options that are a bit further, but with the April wx it might be nice. http://www.presidentialtowersapts.com/

Then when you get used to the fantastic commute to work you discover that the closest place you can afford is Elgin. ;)

So true.. Actually an hour and fifty-four minutes, one-way with out traffic is not bad.

Sad Trombone fail sound......

Job posting will be made for a new class later this week.

Rumor is that it is going to be a big class so if you have any interest in applying I would get your application in as soon as it goes live.

I would also say that no matter your level of experience feel free to apply.

How can you apply if it's not posted? Just curious?
Thanks
