I've got a few too but figured good insurance for their speciality.ATN_Pilot said:Nah. I've got more lawyers than anyone should ever have to deal with.
And every single one logged billable hours out of that call. ATN, the rainmaker!I wish! Asked a simple question earlier this week, and it turned into a 7 lawyer conference call. Oy.

Oh, and I'm a member...GA is where careers are started, and you're an idiot (sorry Todd, had to) if you don't see that.
Check out Falcon Insurance. $10 says they're lower than Aopa. $5 says they're at least 25% lower.Of course GA is where careers are started, but who cares? They're only getting my money because the discounts exceed the cost of membership.

For group life on Alaska 135 pilot AOPA pretty much the only thing I found that does not cost a arm and leg. I have also found on a state level here they advocate the interests of 135 operators and are involved in commercial safety initiatives. Though probably unique to Alaska as GA and 135 needs line up more often than not.Check out Falcon Insurance. $10 says they're lower than Aopa. $5 says they're at least 25% lower.

Now if I could get them to stop sending me the magazine of big watches and articles of why I need a Cirrus... ya... that would be great.
And a kid on the way!So what's next? Are you going to tell us you are married? You voted Republican? You signed up for Rapid Rewards?
And the answer was free right? Tossing you a freebie?I wish! Asked a simple question earlier this week, and it turned into a 7 lawyer conference call. Oy.
I'm sitting here enjoying a little bit of breakfast cereal and I don't detect any AOPA urine in it. Someone there pee in yours, man?![]()
Seggy said:@ATN_Pilot , why didn't you go with EAA Insurance? They seem a lot more ethical than AOPA... http://www.eaa.org/en/eaa/eaa-membership/eaa-aircraft-insurance-plans Or did you really just want to join AOPA as your goals in aviation fit what AOPA is trying to do, be a voice for the 1%?
