Reasonable Part 141 with GI Bill Experience

Read some old threads but couldn't find enough recent information to pass on. I have a coworker thinking about using her GI Bill to get flight training. She isn't interested in going to college or using the Post 9/11 eligibility. I know some schools are more knowledgeable than others on this.

I know you can't put Part 141 and reasonable prices in the same sentence. But because she is still on tap to pay 40% of the total cost, she is looking for something moderately priced.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Reasonable 141 <-------does not exist.

Might try Regal Aviation in Seattle. But not associated with a college program as far as I know. Good school but like all 141s expensive.

Well, I kind of don't think they exist but at least one that is less pricey I guess.

She is South of OKC area but would be open to any location.

The school I went to at KANE was pretty good with GI benefits. Still expense, but were willing to work with you to keep costs down. You'd be looking at around $110-120 still for an IFR equipped warrior. They do work with a credit union for financing as well. Feel free to PM me for my contact info if you have any questions.

Personally I would recommend strongly to use post 9/11 at a college to have her flight fees covered and a living and book allowance.

Starting to think that would make more sense. I will convince her to look that route then.

I'm a senior this year at Arizona State and used Chapter 33 benefits the whole time I've been here. You guys can contact me for questions about ASU's program and using GI Bill here for flight program.
