When I was in the 2nd grade at the Waialae School, most of the buildings in the center background weren't there.

Just moved up to Weddington, NC (just south of Charlotte) from Florida about 2 months ago with my wife and daughter for a change of scenery. We are big on going out on adventures and there seem to be plenty of parks and places here for that. This lake and waterfalls are not part of any park but are tucked away in the woods behind where we live. All kinds of hidden gems around here.

You can actually drive into the mountain for a few miles.

I'm a fueler at CLT. Wifes a paralegal in uptown. If you have kids its seems to have great schools. That was one of the bigger reasons for us.
