Alaska/Delta Cat Fight Continues

So which airline is your gamble, Alaska or Hawaiian?
One of them, as @BobDDuck pointed out, doesn't wear ties! The humanity!

(I think that given my pirate status for the last 2.5 years, I would adapt just fine to that, though. Hawaiian I would drop everything and move to Hawaii for. Alaska, I would not move to Anchorage for, but I would move to PDX or SEA...just like everyone else, I mean.)

Itll help me when you answer questions asked instead of the narrative in your head. Or just say, "not sure what you're talking about Delta has been more than a MX base since forevers".

Something bordering on polite.

My point was that my post was not directed at you personally, just generically at the "oh they are new here" crowd, but you took it personal...again.

I mean, the base closure and consequent move to Southern California was pretty much a defining moment in my young life. And not for the better. I am a product of lousy schools in equally lousy suburbia as a result of it, and other things.

:( That really stinks. Preaching to the choir here, but we all know that mergers are never 1+1=2.

Judging from the one time I sat in on Calculus for Business Majors (higher mathematics for dummies in which the notion of a derivative is introduced and that's it for the semester) in college, then highly resolved to never set foot into any class coded "BUS/MATH" again, I would say that 1+1 = any single digit integer is a dubious proposition at best for anyone with a management or business degree. Call me a condescending computer scientist, but yeah.

I have a great button somewhere with Sylvester, sitting in a cloud of yellow feathers, on the tail of a Western airplane and the words "APRIL 1, 1987" on it. I'm willing to bet that's not in uniform compliance.

I shall punt to the opening words of the Sacred Scrolls of BSG. "All of this has happened before. All this will happen again." It's true.

Edit - regarding specifically the stuff that happened to me personally as a result of that decision, it's useless for me to wonder how life would be different had I stayed in Seattle, but I definitely think things would have been different. This job became a ticket out of town for me and I'm so glad.

I might be able to change your mind if you stop by. There's a pa-20 ride to somewhere without airports in it for ya ;). Plus I think I owe you an airplane ride anyways.

Is that, like, a selfie booth?

I mean, I'm 27 28 and I know what a phone booth is...

Car? Rolling stock towed behind a steam locomotive? What could you conceivably want to "crank"? No doubt this is some of this "slang" terminology I've been reading about in the Gazette. *removes monocle*

I can only read what you write not what you meant. Apologies.
